THE FEAR FALL!!!

OMG I was ready to get my day started with the FEAR FALL.!! Dun Dun Da!!! I ran as fast as I could just to get in line.Then I saw the line and thought this is going to be a long wait,while we were waiting I was cheering on classmates.Then we were nearly at the front.Then we were at the front of the line.I walked in the gate wait know hoped all the way into the cart buckled in.Up Up an away.

- Coding (Snap4Arduino) and Arduino Boards

In Term 3, the students have been continuing their STEAM learning using the STEAM Electronics kits. They have been learning how to block code using the program Snap4Arduino. The purpose of this learning has been for the students to control one or more LED lights on an electronic arduino board using code. Each week the coding expectation increased and the students showed perseverance in achieving successful outcomes!

Learning Goal 1. To make an LED blink off/on by controlling voltage from 0V to 5V by programming the Arduino.

Learning Goal 2.  To change the speed of blinking to such a high rate that the LED appears to be dimmer.

Learning Goal 3. To make the LED fade on and off by varying the voltage

2018 - Term 3 STEAM - ‘Coding and Arduino Boards’ Reflective Questions

Q.What was I learning and why?

A.I was learning that when you are wiring  up your breadboard you don't just

use the diagram because  it sometimes confuses you..

What did I do well and how do I know?

A.I did well  helping Stevie connect all the wires even though it was hard for me.  

Q.What challenged me ……?

A.What I think challenged me was trying to make sure all of the wires are positioned right

Q.What would I do differently next time to make my learning more successful ….. ?

A.Make sure I write the code out properly and make sure I put the pin in.What have I enjoyed about the learning?

I enjoyed making the light blink and learning so much new stuff I never knew.

Science roadshow

When we went to the science roadshow on Wednesday I had a blast there was two shows the first part was the human body and the second part was fire and ice.I enjoyed watching the liquid nitrogen make the ring shrink so the ball could not fit through.At the science roadshow I learnt that liquid nitrogen was that cold it make things shrink.A girl from Niwa blow into a tube and the water turned from blue water to yellow.I want learn more about how your body digests.👌

The boys had just got into formation Lochie shouted Kemo He.Then in between the haka the warriors chests were burning red like a sun burn.BOOMING voices big eyes widin farshis faces scarying little kids.The haka was that loud it made a little baby burst into tears.Slap bang boom the warriors slaping there legs like they have never done before.The boys did a great job.Goosebumps rushing up my spin with laughter.

I am Khalia Murray and i go to Paparore School in the far north of New Zealand .My two parents are

Reyna and Kape i also have two brothers Jayden and Damon and one little sister Mia .My culture is Maori/European .This terms goal in my basic facts is to get into the 90's but right now i am around the 60's and 70's .I am good at netball and reading.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends
Also my dogs .My challenge this year is to get to leave four right now I am leave four.
